Pamela Cameron has been involved in the loving, training, showing, breeding, and grooming of dogs since childhood. She fell in love for the first time in 1968 when her sister Maribeth sent her
a German Shepherd puppy to raise after the death of their father. The bond that developed between the two was the basis for a lifetime relationship with dogs.
Pamela was active in obedience and conformation with the Broward County German Shepherd Dog Club as a teenager in the 70's.
After moving to Nova Scotia, she began showing and grooming both GSDs and American Cocker Spaniels and had the privilege of learning proper grooming technique from some of the best show breeders and handlers in the business. While grooming her client's dogs, over the years, she had many requests to groom other breeds so Pamela opened her first all breed grooming business in 1985.
She was still active in showing, training and breeding and taught obedience with the Cape Breton German Shepherd Dog Club.
After returning to the United States, Pamela continued her involvement with dogs as well as working as a Shelter Operations Manager for the Humane Society. While there she created an obedience program to reduce adoptee returns to the shelter.
In 1999 Pamela came home to Canada where she continues to work as a groomer, show her dogs and breed the occasional German Shepherd.
